75th Anniversary of Royal Family Visit to South Africa Day 11

 Day 11: 10th February 1947

The most busy and exciting day of the sail to South Africa.

The Captain said in his diary he was able to attend the ceremony being carried out in a sedan chair. 

The Crossing the Line Ceremony (Crossing the Equator) this only happens on the Southern journey.

There was a booklet produced for the event and part is reproduced below with supporting photos.
