Day17: 16th February 1947

Captain's Diary

The Sunderland Aircraft joined as an escort at 7.00am and one Aircraft was on duty all day.

The South African sloops Actaeon and Nereide  joined as escort firing a Royal Salute, steaming past and cheering before taking up their station.

The 3rd stamp is the 3d of Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret. As before 120 stamps - 20 rows of 6 stamps.
