 Day 94: 4th May 1947

Captain's Diary

1030 rendezvous with HMS Cleopatra & Diadem and RFA Brown Ranger (fuel ship) 

1100 Cleopatra and Diadem fired a Royal Salute

1100 Vanguard linked up to Brown Ranger and took on oil and finished at 1640 the Brown Ranger then left and the squadron proceeded on course for home.

2000 Vanguard and Triumph turned stern to wind to a Southerly course whilst Cleopatra and Diadem and Raider proceeded on a North course at 10 knots.

2100 Vanguard held the delayed concert till 2345 on the quarter deck.

2400 Vanguard and Triumph turned north and proceeded at 20 knots.
