Day 93: 3rd May 1947
Captains Diary
The Royal Party had a walk round to meet the hands at Divisions at 0945.
At 1100 HMS Triumph and Raider joined the escort, carrying out a fly past, steam past and cheered the ship and Triumph firing a Royal salute.
At 1400 mails were transferred to HMS Nigeria who then parted company, cheering ship as she did so and at 1430 HMS Raider transferred mails to HMS Vanguard.
